The interior light indicates that power is being received into the fridge but it is no longer cooling or freezing no matter what setting I put it to. Is there a reset button?

The same thing happened to our fridge freezer this weekend. Light on, no sound at all, refrigerator not working, freezer seemed okayish, but not brilliant. Called out a local repair guy and he replaced the power regulator and within minutes it was working better than before! Cost £78.56 which is far better than buying a new unit.
