1994 vauxhall corsa door panel removal?

I'm trying to replace the window winder on my son's 1994 Corsa but can't get the door panel off because of the door mirror adjuster fitting. Can anyone please give me advice about removing this fitting?

You need to insert a bent welding rod underneath and pull out lock. quite tricky, honest.
