I have a kenmore 1560 zig zag sewing machine and i had taken the hand wheel off, to see inside because the belt is worn and when i put it back together, it is so tight. The belt is the same way as it should be. What is the problem?

Chances are the the belt is jammed or come off the motor pulley, whilst you have the balance wheel off put some oil on the shaft because it is often overlooked. drivewithken@blueyonder.co.uk
