miele coffee machne with fault code f10 what fault is it?

I am thinking of buying this machine but it is faulty customer says the error code is F10, can you help?

If non plumbed machine, try removing the water tank, and cleaning/pushing the valve on the water tank, inspect the reciprocal inflow valve on the machine itself for deposit or blockage and reinsert then try again. Also try removing and reinserting the brew unit.

I just had it on mine. It indicates that there is no water in the unit. Either the water is turned off to the unit or if it is not plumbed then the water tank is empty
