Hi, I just replaced the belt on my TS12 dryer. It's fairly straight forward.
First, pull off the timer knob to reveal a screw behind it. Remove this screw (this caught me out for a while)
Next, remove the 4 screws on the bottom of side panels, then the 2 below the main front panel at either edge. Finally remove the two screws at either edge at the rear (You don't need to remove the ones at the top edge in in the center.)
Now, gently slide the control panel at the front to your right as you are facing the machine, it should move about 5mm to the right and then be possible to lift forwards, revealing several more screws.
Remove the screws at the top and the sides that were under the control panel.
Once this is done it should be possible to lift the main white metal bodywork straight up away from the front panel and the rear panel to reveal the drum inside.
Once you have the bodywork removed, locate the tensioner below the drum that keeps the belt tight, pull the arms apart and remove the belt from the motor.
At the top of the dryer above the drum you should see two metal bars that connect the front panel to the rear held in place by screws at the front. Remove the two screws to disconnect the bars. While supporting the drum, gently lean the front panel forward enough to slip the old belt past the front of the drum (I found it helped to open the door at this point as the filter gets in the way with it closed. Once you have removed the old belt, pass the new belt around the drum in the same manner.
Work the felt bearing back into the drum and close the door, then replace the two screws that held the bars in place to prevent the drum falling off the bearing.
Replacing the cover is now the reverse of removal.
Hope this helps,
Andy
