hi could some one please help ive got a 2000 speedfight 2 100cc im having a cutting out problem with it. it works perfect in the dry but as soon as it starts raining and it gets wet it cuts out and will not start for about 10 mins then it will start up again run for about 3 mins and cut out again and sometimes backfires when it cuts out ive replaced the spark plug and still no luck please reply to site or email me at andrewnorth3@hotmail.com thankyou all for your time

am going to replace spark plug cap and get some wd40 tomoz and give that a go will let u know how it goes

hi mines 2004 100cc speedfight does exactly the same cuts out when wet replaced ht lead plug the lot and it still does it confused :(

I've got the same problem now Ive ordered a new ht lead didn't think to spray the coil. Gutted.

hi andrew, i had the same problem with my speed fight model as well. get some wd40 spray the ht lead what goes onto the plug and inside the ht lead plug end also spray battery terminals with wd 40 try this it should be fine after this. its the damp and rain also cover the bike up if possible and keep spraying every week whilst cold and wet weather is hear
