Craftsman 32cc gas line trimmer. # 358.791580?

I seem to have a small hole in the prime pump and it isn't letting the fuel thru to the engine once the gas primed to the carb is burnt. How so I get that little rubber(?),plastic(?) bulb off to replace it?

You may have a carberator fuel pump problem. I have the same model and have had to replace the carberator because it would not prime. It ran one year and now have the same problem. The carberator comes as a complete assembly and can not be repaired.

To remove the primer bulb, remove the air filter, then the two screws that hold the carberator to the motor. The primer bulb should have two tabs on the back side that you push in to release it from the housing.
