how can i fix my zanussi 'frost free' fridge, the food compartment does not get cold and the freezer compartment below frosts up. the fan runs continually. if the thermostat is broken how do i replace it and likewise any of the sensors, and where are they and what do they look like ? the model number as far as i can tell is N121, although this may well be a guess on my part !!

defrost timer or defrost heater could be faulty.defrost with doors open for 24hrs and see if it works when you restart it.if after 2-4 wks it comes back with the same fault then you have an auto defrost fault and parts mensioned above could be issue.

defrost timer faulty or defrost heater.turn this off for 24hrs with doors open and retry.if it works for 2-4wks and reverts back to same fault it is a definately defrost cycle fault and above parts need checking.7 out of ten times defrost timer fault but could be other reasons!
