I agree with Nigel, 1342, with 1 at right (Transmision) end. However a mechanic argued that number 1 cylinder is on the left looking from the front. The Haynes manual says No; 1 cylinder is at transmission end(Right end) WHO IS CORRECT?

Hi Dave, the firing order is 1,3,4,2 with 1 at the right end as you look into the engine bay
