maytag side by side refridgerator collecting water in the freezer botton?

cleaned out all the frozen water the other day and in about two days i noticed more frozen water collecting in the bottom of freezer. everything else seems to be working fine.

I had the same a couple of years ago and it is now happening again. It is the heater/thermostat unit in the freezer compartment.
