Citroen Xantia Suspension?

Hi. I have just had all my sphere`s changed on a N 95 Xantia 1.9TD as my suspension was very hard. After the NEW sphere`s had been fitted/changed my rear suspension is now very bouncy on NORMAL setting but when on HIGH or LOW its solid again. Is this normal for a Xantia as i`m very confused now or someone said it may need bleeding of air. How do i do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

My garage is having trouble in removing the O/S/Rear sphere/globe on my Xanita 1.9 TD. Mileage 126000. Spheres last changed 70K. If they force the sphere to turn, they fear that the aluminium bracket that the sphere is attached to will bend, break, shear off and cause more trouble. Does anybody know how to sort this problem out. Are the attached brackets expensive, either to buy, or fit?
Many thanks

Sorry, I am really trying to get an answer as I too have had 4 spheres fitted to a 2000 xantia estate with the same result, a bit like driving a space hopper; as if it was on the higher setting. The front had gone up a bit and the back had gone down; this was adjusted.
Anyone know how to stop the bounce?

when on low you should not be driving as its only lowered to able to lift heavy items into boot. when on high setting it is to give clearance over rough terrain (ie farm tracks) so you should go slowly and the book says there is no suspension on this setting.

Dave. I had all the front/rear sphere`s changed for NEW 1s apart from the sphere on the back axle (middle) which has not been changed. Would this be the cause of my bouncy suspension?

Mark, February 2008
hi mark xantia suspension very simple low setting service use only, high setting service use only, next line down for low speed high ground clearance use only . if in high solid ,normal if in low solid ,normal.if bouncy in normal setting spheres plain and simple if ride height ok. were spheres fitted new ,and have they been changed? they can be a pain to remove
