How do I stop my Ford Ka from pulling?

I only bought it on Friday and on the drive home, noticed that there is not enough power going into the car, when it is going uphills, it struggles after 50mph and there is a rubber smelling burning from tyres? please help, it is a Ford KA 1.3 on a V plate.....

Sounds like your front brakes are seized. Common fault with KA's. I had the same prob with my wife's KA. Striped out front pads & re-grease slides & pads. Take it back to garage & explain to them that your brakes are seizing up & ask them to repair them. Not an expensive job to fix, might be a good time to replace brake pads, as the old ones will have to come off anyway.
Here's another forum if you want to ask these guy's too:- http://www.myka.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewforum.php?2

Hi
Sounds as if the brakes are binding on(stuck on) take to a mechanic 2 check it out. Or back to who sold it to you.
