how to replace grill element on creda edcs51?

do i need to take the back off the cooker in order to replace the element or can i relpace it from within the grill

I could not remove the back from the grill are to gain access to the connectors but removed the 2 screws at the back of cooker to remove the top hob. This then allowed me to fit the wires to the element.

Hi, you can replace it from within the grill. There are four screws that hold the back panel in. Once removed it reveals the element. A single screw holds the element in place and when removed you can pull the element out and pull off the two push on crimps that supply power to it. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DISCONNECTED THE OVEN FROM THE MAINS BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS.

Hi Neal. I have the same question and wondered if you had a reply from anyone to help.
Cheers,
Dave.
