Actually, the make of your laptop makes no difference, it's the operating system that makes the difference.

Before this will work, I will need to know what operating system you are trying to install this printer on. If you are running Windows XP home or professional, you will just need to follow the link and download the driver/software (Lexmark combines these.) However, IF YOU ARE RUNNING VISTA, you will need to do several things first! Don't even plug the printer into your computer if you are running Vista, it could mess up your computer's performance.
If you are running Vista, please send me an email and I will walk you through the steps to getting the driver and software safely installed on your system. I just finished installing a the Lexmark x83 on laptop running Vista, so I know it works with several complicated steps.
