car has developed warning light fault(small red engine logo)handbook says fuel injection and overheating fault non of which exist. what is causing this and how is it fixed

There could be a fuelling (or exhaust) fault without you being aware of it...its best to get the car diagnostically scanned as any fault will be stored in the cars computer. Can save a real headache come MOT time!
