I can't reset my Veritas control panel after a power cut, can you help?

Had a power cut and now my veritas control panel is showing tamper and the buttons won't seem to do anything and I cant reset it to turn the flashing light off, is there anyone out there who can help me please, thanks.

Hi Sam, another classic case of a flat battery! does anyone get them checked?
these are available at most diy places, not sure if the tamper problem is related to the power cut problem though.
