hotpoint aquarius ctd00 how can i stop the base and housing filling with wa?

the 'fan housing' and the base of my hotpoint condenser dryer keeps filling with water instead of sending it to the collection drawer what is causing this and how can i stop it, it builds up over time until it wont work anymore and i have to take it apart, empty the water out and leave it to dry before it will work again, it makes a loud grating noise when water is inside but the drum still turns and for a time water is collected in the drawer, it is well ventilated and the condeser unit at the base of the front is cleaned out regularly.

this happens with mine sometimes as well, heres what i do, take the top of the dryer and at the top left, if you are facing dryer door, should be a little hole with a thin tubing running from it, sometimes this can collect hair, dust etc etc and you should just clean it out and hopefully it will be as good as new.
