Ariston A1237 Fault?
Our washing machine, an Ariston A1237, has just stopped working properly and we don't have any manuals for it.
When we swich it on it sounds like it is draining continously. The power on/in use light flashes rapidly and one of the four selector buttons on the front of the machine ( 'Extra Spin') also flash. It doesn't appear to make any difference which program setting it is on. Any ideas what's wrong or how to fix it?

your machine thinks its full of water. sounds like aproblem with the water level detection system. Its an air operated pressure switch located beneath the top cover. It has a thin black rubber pipe connected, undo the pipe and blow down through it to clear any blockages. check your filter also. the pressure switch itself may be faulty. check out www.2ndwave.co.uk/manual/
