my bonnet on my transit will not close i think its because the catch isnt springing back into place is this because the cable is brocken if so r they easy to fix.
its a transit high roof lwb

If the cable is broke the handle would be floppy and it would probably lock shut on you,it's more likely the catch itself,spray loads of WD40 on all moving parts and get them released,you may need a screwdriver to push the catch to the closed position,get someone to operate the lever while you do it.
