I have never changed the rear brakes pads on my car is their any special tools that i need or is it straight forward. can anybody tell me which way to turn the pistons to open them up to fit new brake pads. Also is right and left hand pistons opened up the same way.ie
allright or all left turn ?

you neeed acaliper wind back tool or screw driver and large grips and lots of time o/s winds clockwise n/s anti clock ,good luck
