How do I remove the top of my Citizen watch to glue a marker back on?

How do I remove the top of my Citizen watch to glue a marker back on? This has happened to 5 different markers in the past 8 years and I'd like to bypass the jeweler if possible on such a redundant task! (base metal yp, SMK, GN -o-S if that means anything)

Thanks,
Eric

hi,
this is tricky but can be done.
1. remove back off of watch with a pen knife
2.inside of watch near to wear the button and stem run in to the unit there is a small hole (in the circuit)
3. find a small screwdriver or something strong and non bendable
4. push in to the hole and at same time pull out button and stem (winder) (wiggle it slightly to remove)
5.you should now sucsessfully have removed the button and stem from the circuit
6. now turn the watch over and gently prise the insides of the watch out. (careful not to drop it)
7. now you have access to the face of your watch (be very careful not to get glue any where else)
8. when it has dried fully insert the watch insides back into the casing. line up the hole where button and stem enters the watch, with the hole on the side of the circuit (from which you pulled it out from)
9. push button and stem back in, you will hear a click, give it a turn (as if you were changing the date) and it should all be back together.
10. replace back by pushing it on with thumbs.
ta da
done.
hope this helps.
