No sound on V3 motorola cell phone?

Does anyone know how to fix my cell phone. it is in really great shape physically. I dropped it and now I can not hear any sounds. The person on the other end can hear me and what I am saying, but I can not hear anything they say. It does not make any sound at all.......
thanks!

Mine did the same thing. I fixed it by squeezing the front and back bottom of the phone together. Not sure how long this will work. I think shuttingitoff and tapping the bottom may work too.

If the screen is still working perfectly, it's a harder fix than you or I could do. If the screen is even discolored or different in any way after you dropped it, the problem would most likely is the connector from mainboard (the part with the keypad) to the flip screen where the speaker is.
If the screen is different, I would take the phone apart and reconnect the ribbon cable firmly.

That's my only guess:S Wish I could be more helpful.

good luck
