How can I fix my Ford Mondeo 1.8GLX Petrol M Reg from cutting out?

Hi, I have a Ford Mondeo 1.8GLX M reg Petrol and it keeps cutting out. It has done 64K miles.
When approaching junctions or when slowing down the Revs just seem to drop and stall the engine. I have changed fuel filter, plugs and leads, Idle speed control valve plus many more, but the problem still hasn't gone.

Hi there from kev you might try replacing the lambda sensor it is screwed into the exhaust front manifold and has a 3 or 4 wire connector plug these are noted for giving out problems I had the same thing happen to my mondeo 1.8 mistral and it used to annoy me when it would cause the engine to stall and cutout at junctions changing it cured my mondeo problem let me know how you get on.
