sensor in the radiator not working , causing engine to overheat find locate radiator sensor remove the wiring. Keeping fingers away from fan. turn ignition ON bridge the two wires together fan (MUST WORK) if motor WORKS REPLACE SENSOR in radiator. if motor no work by bridging wires replace cooling fan motor, the sensor in the radiator might be alright but we have a motor fault WE HAVE JUST PROVED THE FAULT (MOTOR or SENSOR) on refilling system check for air locks in pipes and bleed off using the air bleeds in the heating pipes air always rises to the highest point
