Rear window heater Fiat Punto SX 1999 (T-reg) not working?

The rear window heater doesn't work in my new second hand Punto (1999). I have checked the fuse, looked ok. (Fusebox nightmare to find....lol) The indicator light comes on on the button.
Ideas? Or is this a job for a mechanic?
