My Lexmark LX5150 (4407 - 001 GNZ01) printer is on and working for photocopying but each time I try to print data from the computer it says "cannot communicate with printer". I have tried the 3 troubleshooting tips like disconnecting at USB port, switching off and turning computer off and on again but to no avail. What could be wrong

hi, I have a X. 5495 -- had a problem communicating with computer -- took about two weeks to figure out that the antivirus program had a parental block program and was keeping my printer from communicating with the computer. Try turning off the program for a few minutes and attempt to print something. I think that will solve your problem. I have Norton antivirus program that is outdated. If it is your program, maybe get in touch with the manufacturer and see if there is a patch. They can download to help you
