My Hotpoint Aquarius washer drier 1100 WD61, will start a dry cycle but stops after approximately 40seconds? At the point of failure the power light also goes out.
If I then advance the programmer say to a wash cycle the wash cycle will commence. Then if I advance the programmer to the dry cycle, the dry cycle will start again but stops after approximately 40 seconds. This problem occures on both 1/2 and full heat programmes. I have tested both thermostats ontop of the heater - both ok. Have cleaned out fluff in the hot air ducting and from the blower impellor.

Can anyone suggest where I can get an electrical circuit diagram for this washing machine please?

Is The fan running? The things on the top are thrmal cut-outs not thermostats if the fan is not running these will cut power to the elements after a shot period of time ie 40s and when you advance the timer to the wash cycle the cut outs are not in curcuit so everything works fine
