Even if the programmer is off for both water and heating, if I turn the boiler stat up until it clicks, the boiler lights. The heating doesn't get hot but I assume it's heasting the water. The pump in the airing cupboard is also on all the time, even if I turn the boiler stat all the way down so the boiler turns off. It used to be ok but I'm not sure when it started happening. Can anyone suggest anything please?

even if the zone valves are returning ok you may find one of the micro switches in the valves has stuck in the on position.
