every now and then my Walter cap comes off when traviling down the road even though it fits tight and have tightend it before traviling why is this happening? is it to much pressure
Excess pressure wouldn't cause the cap to blow off - they are designed to stop on. You need a new one, basically - or the retaining lugs on the radiator top are worn or damaged somehow.
