Bosch Hob?

This question ahs been asked before but no answer was given. Our Bosch hob ignition continues to fire after the ring has lit and it can only be stopped by turning it off at the wall. Is there any way this can be fixed?

pull off the knobs for each burner and spray WD40 or similar onto the spindles. Replace knobs and press each quickly about 10 times. Switch power back on and test. This worked for me today.

Thank you, will have a look

Right...in that case I guess that there is a relay somewhere which is sticking on when the knobs are turned. All it can be, I think, if it keeps sparking every time for every knob!

There isn't a separate ignition buttion, the ignition is activated by turning the individual burner control knobs. It's irritating!

I haven't seen this before, but maybe the ignition push switch is sticking on? Can you pull it out manually?
