How can I fix my Proform XP542s treadmill?

My walking belt grabs the platform when I walk or run in any speed. I applied lube per instructions and adjusted the tension. No significant change. I checked under the hood and noticed that the motor pulley(belt) is severly worn. The treadmill is 3 yr.s old. It is used regularly. Will replacing the motor pulley(belt) fix the problem or will I need to replace the walking belt too?

If you have adjusted the walking belt and drive belt, and neither of them slip. Then
You need a belt and deck. The drive belt should have nice clean ribs. If any of them are missing it will slip.

Be careful a worn belt and deck can blow your lower electronic drive board.
Change belt and deck together. I promise it will save you money.
