Can I replace a battery in Melcom ST6500 system myself?

I've inherited a Melcom ST6500 alarm system in my new home. The alarm goes off if I have a power cut, so I assume it needs a new battery. Also the internal siren has been going off in the night on occasions, when the alarm is not set.
Is it possibe to take the panel off the system and replace the battery myself, or do I need to call an engineer?

Yes you will be able to do it yourself make sure you have the alarm code as it will sound as you open the panel. If you can find a alarm suppliers you will get one for £12.00 ish + VAT or
