Do NOT use WD40 or starting fluid unless you don't want the crank in it. If it doesn't start with new, fresh gas it isn't going to start at all. First you need to get the water out of the system. Drain the tank (remove and dump). Remove the carb bowl and dump. Use carb cleaner to clean out the carburetor. Dump your gas into a can that is clean. Once dumped look at it and if you see little clear balls at the bottom you have water. Now if you see 2 different levels then you have a lot of water. You need to clean out the system of any water including the filter if there is one.

billy you need to undo the sparkplug spray some crc or wd40. into it pull the cord with the pug out a few times them put a cap of fuel in then do up the sparkplug and pull a few times and it should start.

hi,is this petrol give all the lead's a good spraying with wd & the spark plug, also carb, empty the fuel & refill with fresh fuel, you could remove the spark plug give it a clean with wire brush &reset gap about .032" or the thickness of your thumb/finger nail, then reconnect the spark plug lead & pull the cord (do not hold the spark plug ) to see if the plug is working (sparking)if so refit plug & lead prime the fresh fuel through & give it a good pull but don't forget your choke hope this help's
