my nintendo ds lite is swiching off?

when im on my nintendo ds lite it plays fine no problem but when i press the 'B' button repeatedly or press on it firmly it turns off, what could be the problem?

Sounds like it could be a problem on the main board....
Get it fixed by the pro's.....
