The sensor in the hallway keeps setting the alarm off when nobody is at home or we are in bed. Could the central heating be setting it off as the sensor is situated over the radiator?
Since the electrician fitted some wires to our fusebox we have not been able to set the alarm plus the alarm keeps going off and we are unable to turn it off despite using the code. On the alarm box sensor 5 is lit in red does this indicate a problem?

the pir is seeing the heat from the radiator.change the pir for magnetic contacts connect to your entry/exit zone usually zone (1)
