Drivers, Panasonic, Toughbook, CF-27EB?

Looking for the original device drivers for the CF-27EB model. It's a refurbished model that has an OS Win 98SE and an external CD ROM that attaches by USB port.

Joyce,
I have the original disk. That came with the computer. What drivers do you need? The drivers should be on the windows 98 disk. I also have a recovery disk.

This is too Thomas_C... Is there anyway I can get a copy of that boot disk for the toughbook CF-27EB model. Somehow mine got copyed over and now I can't do anything with the laptop. Thank you.

It'll be a soem time but my friend has a CF-27EB and i think I can get a disk copy of his boot floppy made for you - on a desktop computer. Actuall what you need Is the disk Image - and access to another working computer with a working 1.44 Floppy.

As I understand it, that floppy has Panasonic (R) **DOS** drivers for USB that allow you to access the - connected before boot - external DAD drive. (It's not a DVD it is a Digital Audio Disc (DAD) and they're BOTH Compact Optical Discs.) From there you just install Win99, and run your computer.

I contacted panasonic, both the US and Canada companies. They checked with the Japan company and none can assist me, due to the fact the laptop is refurbished.

Have you tried Panasonic's Web site. www.panasonic.com
