How do I dismantle the wingmirror so that I can replace the shell of it with one I bought from a breakers yard? I was hoping to save the cost of a new assembly plus thecost of spraying the replacement.

You can remove the mirrors without breaking any major components but it does require taking off the door card as this gives you access to 1 of the 3 nuts that hold the mirror to the car from the inside.

Did you ever get an answer to this one and if so could you let me know it? Someone backed into my Puma today and totalled the mirror. Repalcement on on order but not sure how to get the old one off without breaking the various covers and palstic fittings
