Did anyone ever fix this as have the same problem. Also not sure if this is to do with it but also had a new piston and barrel 100 miles ago but kept the same head?

My liquid cooled piaggo nrg seems to be getting very hot even over short distance journeys and becomes unesponsive on the throttle and there's no go I'n it and it's sounding fine but there's no pop to it it's all one continued sound when I turn the throttle ! Any ideas on what needs sorting out ? I thought it might be a blockage I'n the liquid pump or something ? But any advice would be great.... Thanks

hi mark i've got the same problem with my scooter and just wondering if you sort it out? i thing im gonna change water pomp first and see..

the waterpump may not be turning its a common thing on them for the drive wheel to melt or break take it off and look at it its on the right hand side of the engine a black plastic round cover .ok

Could be faulty water pump/drive, clogged/blocked radiator or someone has put straight anti-freeze in it.... should be a 50/50 anti-freeze/distilled water mix normally.........head gasket is usually the problem for overheating though!!!
