clutch not working?

Hi does anyone know what the fault could be on my vectra? I was driving heard something pop and now I have no gears, The clutch won't go right down to the bottom. It is a vectra 1.7 turbo deisel on a n plate, and I have no leakage of fluid anywhere. Thanks

it could be the slave cylinder inside the box which has the thrust bearing on if it is a fluid clutch. a lot of vectras and modern cars dont have clutch cables they use a cyinder which is used by the brake fluid.

Hey mate i did the same thing to my car. I snapped the clutch cable out of the clutch pedal. I'm trying to find out how to fix it. p.s. Check to see if the cable is still their.
