Performance power mitre saw?

I have a performance power, electric mitre saw model no:NLE2010LSMS, i have only attempted to use the machine once and it is 1/8th short from cutting through the wood. Can you please advise how you lower it the 1/8th in order for it to be able to cut through wood.

Thank you,

Quite a common problem with most mitre saws. add a small packer to the material you are cutting (hardboard etc) put the packer between the material you are cutting in the area that the cut doesn't finish ie below or behind no problem.
give solent tools a phone if you need more advice with cutting using a mitre saw. Tel 023 8057 8057

The mitre saw is 1/8th away from cutting through any wood, it does not come down far enough, I have looked at the instructions it does not say how to alter this. Does anyone have any idea how this adjusts??????

You don't say how thick the wood is that you are trying to cut, maybe the saw can't cut that thickness, read the instructions.
