the above car over the last few months has had 2 cats,o2 sensor,air flow meter,cam and crank sesors new plugs and a nown to be ok d.i.s. pack and still keeps stalling at junctions intermitaly and ticks over irraticly till it finds a level but if air con is on doesnt have any problems with finding its level the cats last about a week befor they shake thier baffles loose fuel filter and air filter changed 18000 ago oil filter and oil every 10

Check the crankshaft sensor...sometimes they dont always throw up a code to the ECU when they are packing in. Also check for air leaks, or dodgy Mass Airflow sensor.

i have a vauxhall zafira and its keeps shudderring and starting properly and seems sometimes it is going to break down, I have checked the oil and replaced however it still doing the same thing. It seems the ecelarate is not responding when you press it to get the car moving then all of sudden it jerks forward. Any help would be great

My name is Robert and I am a disable person. Sory for my english I am from Romania. I have an Opel Zafira x18xe1 1.8i 16v. from 1999-2000. automatic car.
When a man try to change the radiator for clima and refil it from that moment starts my problems.
When they put back the radiator for clima the clima did NOT start.
They say it is modul GS proglem (that modul is situated in front-left side of zafira, up to the wheel). The electrician man removed the module down trying to fix it "he realised" the computer motor it is the problem.
On the electrical test it is apear: code c0241 Electrical Breack Module Valve. On the bord it is apear the (TC) sign.
When that sign is on my x18xe1 it's grows up the revs but the speed it stay slow.
Most of the time this problem apear when I try to go on the bridges.
I came back to Opel is Representativ Service and the electrician man sayed that I have to change the computer engine, the immmobilser and the chip Key.

Is there eny one how can help me?

To buy this free: computer engine, immmobiliser and the chip it is cost me more then 1000 Euro and I can not but them, they are to expensive for me.

The X18XE1 engine has an IAC combined with the throttle body housing. before you spend lots of £££ get some break cleaner spray & spray around the inlet manifold if the revs increase you have an air induction leak if not the problem is your throttel body housing the whole thing needs replacing. Good place to look for a reasonably priced new one is VAUXHALL PARTS WAREHOUSE £185.

hi.can anyone help got a t reg ford ka 1.3 petrol multipoint injection...car starts pulling back and jerking when accelerating.replaced new plugs,leads,coil pack,cleaned the idle control valve put redex in tank all to no avail..it does feel electrical to me..now when i renewed plugs leads and coil pack it did seem to run a bit better but still not right..has anyone any ideas..no engine management light on by the way...would appriciate any answers many thanks....karl.

think you may need the IAC (idle air control) cleaning, its a common problem with vauxhalls generally have the same symptoms you describe

have you tried resetting the engine control unit (ECU) by disconnecting the battery for at least half an hour so all the new sensor's ect are reregistered with the ECU otherwise the engine will run as if the old part's are still fitted causing the same symptom's ?
