ford mondeo bonnet catch, can be opened
you need to pull the grill out at the bottom
once the grill is away from the key slot
you will see 2x 4mm allen key screws
remove them both.. you can now remove the key barrel
you will now see the plastic rod. this will probably be broken
move it out of the way.. you will now see a cross slot.
place a large screw driver in the slot, and turn as if you were using the key
the bonnet is now open
replace the broken part and replace the grill
job done
