The electrolux EPIC6500 SR canister vacuum cleaner has no external screws. The parts are held in place by the plastic mold. How do you remove the electric motor for replacement?

Open canister compartment, remove rubber side bumpers, then pry off back of cylinder with large screwdriver. The plastic side parts hold cylinder together, at back, pry part over holding tab, then tap side part around tab. Part should slide out. Repeat on other side, and top and bottom housing comes apart. You can now access the motor, cord reel, etc. Hope this helps.
