y does my wf 860 display test ,not fill with water,run a short cycle empty then redisplay test, any ideas to resolve this?

wow. In all the time ive been posting youre the only person who ever came back to say thanks!
top cover is generally retained by screws at the back. remove them and it slides off towards the rear.manufacturers are now using torx type screws to try to keep people out of the machines. you may need to buy a set of torx screwdriver bits to get the screws removed?
close off the water taps, undo the hose connections and check the valve filters. theyre plastic gauze bowls which sit in the valve inlet - may need to be drawn out with a pair of pliers. Clean with toothbrush if necessary.
