How do I programme my remote key(after changing the batter) for my for fiesta Zetec 1998 model. I do not have the original manuel which describes how to do this.

Hi Chris, this is the method for the radio frequency remote key, switch ignition on (not start) 4 times in 3 seconds switch off and remove key, LED in clock illuminates, press the lock or unlock button clock LED flashes to indicate correct programming, exit the programming mode switch ignition on wait 20 seconds switch off.
For the Infrared key, switch ignition to position 1 wait aprox 10 seconds, clock LED illuminates switch ignition off while clock LED is still on, point the key at the sensor by the interior light, press and hold the unlock button LED in key will flash once, press the lock button 3~5 times, release the unlock button, keep the key pointed at the sensor, the LED's in key and clock will flash 5 times, to exit programming mode switch ignition on and off and wait 20~30 seconds
