How to replace honda 3813 lawn tractor clutch?

Can anyone advise how to replace the clutch and adjust the setting. Otherwise tell me where I can obtain a manual. The machine was purchased new in 1987 and has been excellent on my five acres.
Beside a new cutting deck belt, blades and starter solenoid it is in original condition and too good to phase out of service.
Thank you in anticipation.

If you're talking about the blade clutch, it's really pretty easy to do. The clutch is on the front of the engine and it unbolts easily. You only need to replace the friction plates. Put it back together in reverse order. It's only a few bolts and it's a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Frank, I'm in the process of replacing the clutch in my 3813 also. I tore it apart last night, You'll have to take off most of the sheet metal, back, floorboards, the plastic , the steering wheel will have to come off to get at the plastic, the batery will have to come out to get at the screws for the plastic, bit of a project just to get to the clutch, took me maybe 4 hours to get it out, I now have to get it and then the fun putting it all back.
