there can be an easy way of curing this is ....its normally caused by pressing start and on/off buttons at same time..so to get it out of test mode you need to hold start and on/off together for about 5 seconds.then d off will appear in the display which means demo off. away you go..
however you CAN'T always cure it by doing this, if you try and try but you can't get it out of demo mode it will need reprogramming by hotpoint
