how to ajust the handbreak on a renaut clio?

the clio is a 1997 1.2 and i can not find where to ajust it

On my son's 1999 clio 1.2 Grande the handbrake adjustment is concealed within the lever housing itself. Remove the 2 torx (15 I think) screws from lever housing (on our 5 door model I had to push the front seats forward and sit on the rear seat to do this). Remove the plastic housing from around the lever to uncover the 8mm nut that you to tighten to adjust the efficiency of the parking brake ultimately reducing the ratchetted movement. Good luck and hope you have found this useful?
