my yamaha wave raider 700 worked perfect the last ime i had it out...now even with a brand new battery it only makes a clicking sound when i push the start button...i have checked all of the wiring connections and all seem to be in good order...anyone have any other ideas that could help me, i would really like to get back in the water soon.

I am thinking you bought the new battery because of the clicking sound. Have you tried to rotate the engine by hand on the PTO. Remove the Spark plug and look for corrosion on the tip. Could be as severe as locked up or an issue with a gorund or positive cable connection. Before you buy any more parts make sure the engine rotates freely. Could also be the Jet Pump siezed. But lets hope it not the worst. P.S. was it winterized?
