No Drive power to left wheel. How to fix?

REVISED QUESTION

I have got an older Sears Craftsman snow blower model C950-52750-7. I have lost the drive power to the left wheel. Everything else works fine but with drive power going only to one wheel I have problems on the inclines. There is a lot of snow outside here and it is cold so its not easy to take the machine apart. Any ideas out there as to what is wrong and whether a quick fix by a non-handyman type might be possible. Thanks.

The left hand wheel is secured to the axle with a "klick" pin. You klick pin has probably moved from the wheel locked position into the single wheel drive ( unlocked ) position.
